NTUZUMA - The 12 men accused of killing five people in the Bhambayi area of Inanda, north of Durban, are back in court to apply for bail.

The group is accused of killing five people with a bush knife two weeks ago.

Police said the victims were kidnapped from their homes and assaulted before they were murdered.

The motive for the gruesome incident is still unclear.
