The accused began his testimony on Monday to prove he is not guilty of the charges he faces.
Kilian started his testimony by telling the court he would never participate in activities to harm anyone.
He is accused of using a cellphone tracking application to ping the whereabouts of certain targets on behalf of Modack.
Kilian told the court he was in the business of debt collection and vehicle repossession and was assured the tracking service was legal.
The State previously produced evidence showing Kilian pinged top cop Charl Kinnear more than six hundred times on the day he was murdered in September 2020.
Kilian told the court he suspected other people had access to the profile he was using on the pinging application.
