The pair then subsequently appeared before the Randburg Magistrates Court on Tuesday where the defence argued the charge of money laundering and its severity.
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA)'s Phindi Mjonodwana said that the State's investigations into the matter were ongoing.
"So now we have requested a postponement as the State for the office of the director of public prosecution to provide us with a certificate that confirms the schedule and also we were presented with the address of accuse number 1 this morning, so we requested time for the verification of such an address."
