JOHANNESBURG - The Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) said it had not recorded significant security incidents outside of a jet fuel and power interruption.
 
This was revealed by ACSA CEO Mpumi Mpofu at the entity's post-season update in Kempton Park on Tuesday.
 
The period between December 1st and 16th was also the busiest season for ACSA's airports.
 
Earlier in January there was a jet fuel issue and several power disruptions at the OR Tambo International and Cape Town International airports.

"One is the issue of jet fuels security of supply work that we have been doing over the period. We have had media coverage on that. The minister has issued a statement indicating that problem has been solved. But we will give you the details and what has transpired over the period in relation to the issue of jet fuel security of supply."
