CAPE TOWN - One of alleged underworld gang boss, Nafiz Modack's co-accused, Zane Kilian on Monday told the Western Cape High Court he would never participate in activities to harm anyone.

Killian, along with Modack and 13 others face 122 charges related to allegedly operating a criminal enterprise.

The accused started his testimony to prove he is not guilty of the charges he faces.

Earlier on Monday, the court ruled for charges of conspiracy to murder, attempted murder, money laundering and fraud against Kilian to be withdrawn.

But Kilian still faces a slew of other charges related to being part of a criminal enterprise, the unlawful interception of communication, and the murder of top cop, Charl Kinnear.

He told the court that as a debt collector, he believed the tracking service he offered his clients was legal.

He also told the court he believed other people had access to his profile on the pinging application he had been using.

The matter will be back in court on Tuesday to continue hearing Killian's testimony.
