Motorists will have to dig even deeper next month, as the fuel price will increase again on February 5. 

Petrol prices are estimated to rise by about 90 cents and diesel by over R1, according to the latest data from the Central Energy Fund

This will be the fourth consecutive increase.

“It doesn’t look like there is going to be relief any time soon… you are now paying higher fuel prices because of higher international oil prices and weaker Rand against the US Dollar.”
