WC police on hunt for 4 suspects linked to theft of high-value metal worth R200m

CAPE TOWN - Western Cape police are searching for four suspects linked to the theft of R200 million worth of high-value metal near Cape Town International Airport.
Authorities say the suspects broke through a fence to enter the premises in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Once inside, they headed to the cargo section and emerged with bags of metal.
Provincial police spokesperson Joseph Swartbooi urged anyone with information to come forward.
"The suspects wore balaclavas and had their hands covered with gloves. They fled the scene in an unknown direction. Anyone who can shed light on the circumstances of this incident or who can assist with leads to trace and ultimately arrest the suspects is kindly requested to call crime stop on 08600 10111 or alternatively use the MySAPS application anonymously."
