Local TikTok creators call for access to the platform’s Creator Fund

The recent ban on TikTok in the US sparked a conversation about why its Creator Fund is only available in a few countries.

The fund allows users with big followings to make money directly from the platform.
It is only available in the US, UK, Germany, Japan, South Korea, France and Brazil.
The team spoke to local creators about how they earn money without the creator fund.
“I have about 413,000 followers… I don’t earn on the app. I am just able to earn through brand deals and other opportunities, not through my videos.”
