In October last year, Warner Bros released the documentary 'Chris Brown: A History of Violence'.
The film featured testimony from a dancer who claimed that Brown had raped her on a yacht in 2022.
The yacht was owned by disgraced rapper Diddy who has been arrested on charges of sex trafficking.
Brown is suing the corporation for $500 million (R9.2 billion) claiming the film is ‘defamatory’ and ‘sensationalised.’
Brown’s lawyers reportedly claim the documentary paints him as a serial rapist and abuser.
Brown infamously abused his girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 which was also mentioned in the documentary, along with several other claims that have been made against him.
