Department spokesperson Siyanda Manana said more health workers will start working at the facility next month.
He said anyone liable for disinformation will face consequences.
"There is nothing like there is no doctors in that institution. How can we have an institution that has no doctors? It is uncalled for, it would be irresponsible of the department not to have doctors in a health institution."
