CAPE TOWN - Cape Town has again proved to be a holiday favourite for international and local visitors.

Cape Town International Airport recorded more than 160,000 international arrivals this summer.

Airport authorities said that more than 360,000 domestic travellers also touched down in the Cape for an end-of-year break.

Just last week, Time Out Magazine announced Cape Town as the best city in the world.

"These numbers show the growing confidence in Cape Town with better access and everything our city has to offer, locals falling in love with their homes all over again, and international visitors exploring our world-famous attractions. Cape Town truly stands out as a favourite for so many," said Cape Town Tourism's Enver Duminy.
