Mozambican freedom fighter says Frelimo party out-of-touch with the needs of the people
The sixty-five-year-old Domingo Mantsensa, whose son was killed in recent clashes between police and Mozambique citizens, said the Frelimo party have lost their way, and are truly out-of-touch with the needs of the people.

MAPUTO - A Mozambican freedom fighter who fought hand-in-hand with the ruling Frelimo party against Portuguese colonialism said that he is sick of the party he once admired.
The sixty-five-year-old Domingo Mantsensa, whose son was killed in recent clashes between police and Mozambique citizens, said the Frelimo party have lost their way, and are truly out-of-touch with the needs of the people.

He spoke to Eyewitness News on Friday from his home in Benfica, just outside the capital of Maputo.
"I was in Frelimo and I grew up in Frelimo. But if you see the Frelimo of today is Frelimo for interest, it’s not a Frelimo that can save the nation. In hospitals there is no medicine, in schools there are problems. These problems are caused by Frelimo because they don't understand what the people actually need," said Mantsensa.
