Hout Bay residents urged to make use of available water tankers during current water outage

CAPE TOWN - The City of Cape Town says plans are in place to alleviate the current water outage affecting the entire Hout Bay community.
Municipal staff have reportedly been working tirelessly to maintain the area's water pipe system.
The City announced that water tankers would be stationed at key locations in Hout Bay, including the Imizamo Yethu taxi rank, the Shell garage on Hout Bay Main Road, and the local police station.
Additional tankers were en route and would be placed in Hangberg and Mount Rhodes.
It is currently unclear when the water supply will be restored in the area.
Residents are urged to make use of the available water tankers during this outage.
