5 suspects nabbed for killing of Mpumalanga cop

JOHANNESBURG - Five people have been arrested and charged with the killing of Mpumalanga police commander, Piet Pretorius was shot multiple times in Ermelo on Thursday while travelling with an official police vehicle. 

The officer was a commander of the vehicle identification unit stationed in Ermelo.

"A multi-disciplinary team established by the acting provincial commissioner, consisting of Hawks, detectives,  intelligence, and a security company, has managed to track and traced the suspects in Nelspruit. As promised, the acting provincial commissioner has highlighted that they will leave no stone unturned in finding these police killers," said Mpumalanga police spokesperson, Jabu Ndubane.
