CAPE TOWN - Missing persons group, Track and Trace, is still hoping for some form of closure for the family of missing German tourist, Nick Frischke.
The 22-year-old went missing while hiking along the Hangberg trail in Hout Bay on Valentine's Day in 2023 and there's been no trace of his whereabouts since then.
On Thursday, it emerged in court that one of the four accused linked to his disappearance had agreed to testify that his co-accused stabbed Frischke in the back.
Track and Trace co-ordinator, Averol Chaz Thomas: "We did the searching, we followed every avenue, we followed every lead but nothing came up. So that's all that I can say. My wish is that we can find his body if he's passed over, or we're going to find him alive, maybe in hospital, just to give the family closure."
