Forbes and Motsoane were shot and killed in February 2023 on Durban’s Florida Road.
In February, a way forward for the trial will be determined.
All investigations into the murder case of Forbes and Motsoane have been completed.
Last week, the State told the court that it had obtained more information.
Magistrate Vincent Hlatshwayo read the summary of the State’s argument during court proceedings on Wednesday.
"Warrant Officer Pillay went on about the strength of the State's case alleging that the State has now secured CCTV footage at the King Shaka Airport for the day of the incident when Mr Forbes arrived at the airport."
EWN understands the State has already prepared indictments to serve all five accused in the matter.
Meanwhile, the extradition process of the two other accused arrested in Eswatini for this matter is yet to be finalised.
Magistrate Vincent Hlstshwayo said that witnesses would take the stand in both cases.
