Khayelitsha school records highest pass rate ever from 37% in 2020 to 99.3% in 2024

Joe Slovo Engineering High School is one of the top schools in the Western Cape, with a matric pass rate of 99.3% for the class of 2024. The Metro East district, which the school falls under, also came in first in Cape Town. Western Cape Education MEC David Maynier celebrated with the learners and congratulated the school on its achievement.
