JOHANNESBURG - Following Dr Mbuyiseni Ndlozi's resignation from the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) as a member of Parliament (MP), there is uncertainty around his future in the party.
Ndlozi joined the EFF in 2013 - its year of inception - and has been representing it in Parliament for a decade.

However, his relationship with the EFF recently went sour, resulting in him being absent from the party's recent national elective conference.
Political analyst Vusi Gumbi believes Ndlozi must look at Godrich Gardee as an example of how to mount a political comeback.
Gardee was the EFF’s first secretary general before losing the title in 2019 - and subsequently resigning from Parliament.
According to Gumbi, for the past five years, Gardee has proven himself as an ordinary EFF member, leading to him being elected as the party’s deputy president in December.
He said Ndlozi could do the same.
“I think this is going to rub EFF members in a good way. They are going to see him as a loyal servant to the party. Despite the fact that he has been emasculated, embarrassed and all of those things, he has remained loyal to the EFF.”
However, political sciences lecturer Dr Levy Ndou said Gardee and Ndlozi’s scenarios are not similar.
He said when Gardee left the EFF leadership, there was no bad blood between him and the party, unlike Ndlozi.
