Winnie Khumalo described as a giant in the music industry

JOHANNESBURG - Tributes continue to pour in for Winnie Khumalo who has been described by her colleagues as a giant of the music industry.
The legendary hitmaker of ‘I just want to live my life’ passed away on Tuesday in hospital.
She was 51 years old.
According to her family, the musician succumbed to a short illness.

Multi-award-winning producer and musician Cleopas Monyepao professionally known as DJ Cleo said he was shocked to find out about the death of his colleague and friend.
“When I got the news, I just posted that she will be performing on my radio show, this Friday. I did not know that she had passed on and then I had to call her phone and she did not pick up and I thought maybe it could be true. Until I got confirmation.”
