Forty-seven-year-old Anthony Karlie was one of the patients who was denied entry.
He said that the consequences of not taking his medication were severe.
"If I didn’t have it then it’s going to be a problem cause I’m going to get more sick because schizophrenia is another sickness if you don’t take your medication then you hallucinate, you see stuff and you can even kill the next person or yourself."
Meanwhile, the Health Department has refused to comment on the case.
