SAPU Spokesperson Mantoetse Molapo said attacks on police were attacks on the State.
"We are indeed concerned about the increasing numbers of police killings. These cruel acts are a direct attack on the State, and the State must address this issue. We are making a call to management of the SAPS in the province to intensify the search for these criminals.
"They must not rest until they are brought to book, and further encourage the community to work hand in hand with the police, as these criminals live among us."
