DURBAN - The State in the murder case of Durban businessman, Shailen Singh, said it needed more time to conclude some investigations.
Two brothers linked to Singh's murder made their first appearance at the Durban Magistrates Court on Friday.
The businessman was shot and killed in uMhlanga, north of Durban, last weekend.
The two brothers arrested for the murder face one count of murder linked to the killing of the trucking business owner, Shailen Singh.
The defence lawyer told the court of the intention to apply for bail, however, the State said it has a few outstanding investigations to complete.
This also includes the verification of the various addresses of the properties owned by the pair and an identity parade by one of the witnesses in the case.
The matter has now been remanded to 13 January 2025 for a formal bail application.
