Proteas bat first at Newlands, Maphaka handed SA debut
The Proteas, who are 1-0 up in the two-match series, made three changes to the side that narrowly beat Pakistan in the first Test at Centurion.

JOHANNESBURG - Teen fast bowler Kwena Maphaka was handed his Test debut as South Africa won the toss and opted to bat in the second Test against Pakistan at Newlands in Cape Town on Friday.
The Proteas, who are 1-0 up in the two-match series, made three changes to the side that narrowly beat the visitors in the first Test at Centurion.
Spinner Keshav Maharaj and allrounder Wiaan Mulder return to the side while Corbin Bosch and Dane Paterson were dropped. Opening batter, Tony de Zorzi, was ruled out with a left thigh strain.
Pakistan were forced to make one change after Naseem Shah pulled out with a stiff back. Mir Hamza comes into the side in place of Shah.
