DURBAN - The father of slain Durban businessman Shailen Singh said he hopes his son's killers will account for their actions.
He's urging the court to deliver a harsh sentence to the two brothers accused of shooting the businessman in the north of Durban on Sunday.
The pair made a first appearance in the Durban Magistrates Court on Friday.
The victim’s father, Pradeep Singh: "Besides the honour of my son but justice for his two-month-old-son, I would expect intervention from the highest level of government as this crime was committed in an upmarket uMhlanga Rocks area in broad daylight."
He's also urged the police to leave no stone unturned in their probe.
"And I expect the highest level of investigation and a fair trial and for the perpetrators to be brought to book."
