CAPE TOWN - Two suspects wanted for kidnapping and rape have been nabbed in Grabouw.
The suspects face charges related to incidents of kidnapping and rape perpetrated in November 2024.
Police spokesperson, Wesley Twigg, said the Maitland Flying Squad pursued the suspects in Bellville after receiving a tip-off on Wednesday.
"The members followed up the information and stopped the identified vehicle in Boston Road, Bellville, with two occupants inside.
“They ensued with a search of the occupants and the vehicle and found a 9mm pistol with 59 rounds of ammunition in the vehicle, which is believed to have been used in the commission of the offence."
