Chesnay Keppler murder: Police officer appears in court
The 42-year-old was arrested in connection with the murder of his girlfriend Chesnay Keppler.

JOHANNESBURG - Demonstrators have gathered outside the Protea Magistrates Court where an Eldorado Park police officer is appearing.
The 42-year-old was arrested in connection with the murder of his girlfriend Chesnay Keppler.
The family of Keppler, who was employed as a crime prevention warden is demanding justice.

ActionSA said it's concerning that crime continues to play out in Eldorado Park even at the hands of officials.
The party's member of Parliament and community leader Dereleen James said the investigating process needs to be sped up to ensure successful prosecution.
"We call on the relevant ballistics unit in Johannesburg to prioritise the forensic examination of the firearm used in this crime to expedite the investigation. We demand a speedy and successful prosecution to ensure that justice is served swiftly and transparently," said James.
