Case against KZN man accused of murdering toddler stepson postponed

DURBAN - The State says it is opposed to bail in the case of a stepfather accused of murdering his stepson and injuring another.
Fanisile Malukopo made a brief appearance at the Verulam Magistrates Court in the north of Durban.
He is linked to the murder of a three-year-old boy who was strangled to death in uThongathi last week.

Investigations into the murder and attempted murder case are ongoing.
The matter has been postponed to 10 January for a formal bail application.
