Weather service warns of wet weather in eastern and central parts of SA

JOHANNESBURG - The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned of expected wet weather conditions in the eastern and central parts of the country.
The weather service has predicted morning thunderstorms for Mpumalanga and Limpopo, with showers spreading to parts of Gauteng on Monday.
Forecaster Samkelesiwe Thwala said wet and windy conditions would persist until 31 December.
"Now, taking a quick outlook for Monday as well as Tuesday, on Monday we are expecting scattered showers and thundershowers over Gauteng, and then over the eastern central part of the country, we are expecting isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers."
