JOHANNESBURG - Disgraced Eastern Cape lawyer Zuko Nonxuba has been disbarred for allegedly stealing millions of rands after submitting fraudulent medico-legal claims on behalf of disabled children.
The provincial government and the Legal Practice Council gathered evidence that was presented before the Western Cape High Court leading to him being struck off the roll on Monday.

President Cyril Ramaphosa signed Proclamation R74 of 2022 - authorising the SIU to probe allegations of corruption and maladministration in 11 government departments including the Health Department, a KwaZulu-Natal municipality and two State agencies.
