JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg Water says residents in some areas of the city may experience intermittent to no water supply as their systems are still recovering from routine maintenance.
The utility's supplier Rand Water had recently conducted a planned upgrade of local pump stations, leading to an 86-hour outage.
Yet, as Johannesburg Water's Nombuso Shabalala explains, there are a few water networks that are not back online.
"There are very few systems that are still in the process of recovery as a result intermittent supply may be experienced as the remaining affected systems continue to stabilise and improve."
