BMA says it doesn't anticipate challenges at Lebombo border

JOHANNESBURG - The Border Management Authority (BMA) said that it doesn't anticipate any challenges at the Lebombo border as operations have been running smoothly so far.
This followed the on-and-off temporary closure of the border due to Mozambique post-election violence that erupted.

Head of the BMA Michael Masiapato said 1,000 cargo trucks have been processed to Maputo, and congestion has been minimised on the N4.
"In terms of the normal vehicles, in terms of the small vehicles, we do not have any traffic on the N4 corridor as we had been able to manage and the processing of all the small vehicles, the taxis as well as the buses."
