Weather service warns of thunderstorms through weekend for SA's eastern central parts

JOHANNESBURG - The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned of thundershowers expected throughout the weekend in the eastern central parts of the country.
Forecaster Samkelisiwe Thwala said Gauteng will have a wet weekend.
The western parts of the country can expect a dry weekend with no forecast disruptions.
"Friday, we are starting off with some light rain and showers along the south coast, with mostly isolated showers and thundershowers expected over the eastern central parts of the country. Similar conditions are expected again on Saturday and Sunday."
