JOHANNESBURG - Joburg Mayor Dada Morero is visiting the Honeydew Reservoir on Wednesday.
He’s there to find out why there are still some water supply issues.
Some areas in Johannesburg were without water over the long weekend, after Joburg Water implemented a water shutdown for maintenance purposes.
Only one northern suburb supplied by the Honeydew reservoir is still without water.
Some residents of the Jackal Creek Golf Estate in Honeydew came to demand answers from the mayor.

Morero assured the residents and the media, that Wednesday’s mission was focused on finding out why some suburbs were still without water.
However, he also indicated that the reservoir was 60% full and that 50,000 other households supplied by it had running water.
"Coming here we then found that Jackal Creek is still without water and now we are trying to establish where is the problem. Our technicians are here, engineers are here to try and establish the problem so that we can ensure that they get consistent water."
Morero added that water tankers were supplied to affected areas during the water shutdown.
