WC Mobility Department concerned with the high number of road accidents
Mobility MEC Isaac Sileku is calling on road users to hold each other accountable and to lower road accidents and fatalities this festive season.

CAPE TOWN - The Western Cape Mobility Department has expressed concern over the high number of road accidents that have occurred over the last few days.
It says there were 22 car crashes with 24 fatalities over the long weekend.
Seven of those killed on the road were pedestrians.

Sileku adds the loss of life can have a negative social and economic impact on families.
