JOHANNESBURG - The South African Weather Service has issued a warning of severe thunderstorms in parts of the country on Tuesday.
It has been said that hail, strong winds, and heavy rains are expected.
There’s also a chance of flooding in NorthWest, Gauteng, Limpopo and KwaZulu Natal.
SAWS' forecaster, Lehlonolo Thobela, said isolated thundershowers are expected as early as Tuesday afternoon.
"Severe thunderstorms are still expected over the central and northern parts of KwaZulu-Natal into the afternoon. Do remember that severe thunderstorms may result in heavy downpours leading to localised flooding, a possibility of damaging winds as well as a possibility of hail," said Thobela.
