Gauteng govt puts festive season programme in place for children

JOHANNESBURG - Acting Gauteng Premier Lebogang Maile has urged parents to keep their children active, busy, and happy this holiday season.

The provincial government has launched a festive season programme for children until 16 January 2025.

"The department has further put mechanisms in place to strengthen and support kids and their families during the time crisis, especially after hours and cases of child exploitation and trafficking," said Maile.
