JOHANNESBURG - Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has hailed the party’s 3rd National People's Assembly (NPA) as a success.

Malema delivered the closing remarks at the EFF’s elective conference in Johannesburg on Sunday afternoon.

Over three days, the political party elected a new leadership team and refined its policies.

Despite questions surrounding Mbuyiseni Ndlozi's absence from the conference, Malema reassured that the event proceeded without any drama or controversy.

He also praised the 2,500 attendees for their disciplined conduct throughout the three-day conference, offering them a figurative "pat on the back."

“There have been numerous attempts to cast doubt and shadow over the credibility and authenticity of our assembly because the aim is to characterise us an organization of chaos and you proved them all wrong.”

The EFF’s newly elected leadership team will be at the helm of the party until its 2029 elective conference.
