A service provider has been appointed to aid in repairs of the laundry machines to restore operations and provide patients with clean linen.
"As previously alluded, the facility's laundry has an ageing infrastructure, which requires an overhaul, in the meantime we have to keep on servicing the current machinery there," said Gauteng health spokesperson, Motalatale Modiba.
The department said it is currently laundering the hospital linen with a laundry service provider.
