JOHANNESBURG - Protest action at SAA's offices in Kempton Park are still underway, with two pilot unions adamant that their concerns have not been addressed.
The South African Pilots Association and the National Transport Movement Pilots Forum picketed on Thursday after wage negotiation terms with the national airline fell through.
South African Pilots Association Sibusiso Nxumalo: "It's unfortunate that management has not given and played their role in engaging with us in a fair and equitable manner to address our concerns. Most of our concerns are conditional to the percentage that has been publicly made and improved working conditions and our conditions of employment."
The pilot unions claim they have been engaging with SAA for the past eight months.
