Man accused of killing baby in Gqeberha due in court
A 31-year-old man has handed himself to police after he shot and killed a 16-month-old baby in Gqeberha.

CAPE TOWN - A 31-year-old man has handed himself to police after he shot and killed a 16-month-old baby in Gqeberha.
Eastern Cape police said that the suspect randomly fired a shot while walking down the street in Motherwell.
The bullet struck the infant, who was strapped to his sister's back.
The police's Sandra Janse van Rensburg: "A case of murder was opened for investigation. The alleged suspect, 31-years-old, reported today at the police with his attorney. The suspect was arrested on charges of murder and he will appear in the Motherwell Magistrates Court on the 5th of December."
