CAPE TOWN - Suspects linked to the mass murders in Mfuleni township in Cape Town made a brief appearance at the Blue Downs Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Their case has been postponed until December 12 so the State can check their criminal profile and bail information.
Five people were shot dead inside a shack at Madikizela informal settlements on Sunday.

Seven suspects have been arrested for the multiple murders as well as the illegal firearms and ammunition found.
Vuyile Gqomo and Lwando Nakani have been charged with five counts of murder for the mass killings, and one count of illegal possession of ammunition.
Lilitha Phalane and Siphelele Gqomo have been charged with the illegal possession of ammunition found on Tuesday during their arrests.
Three other suspects charged with unlawful possession of the firearms seized also appeared in a different courtroom.
"We are happy with that, and we will continue with the investigation, but there's a complexity in an investigation where firearms are used because they exchange hands within no time after the incidents," said provincial Police Commissioner Thembisile Patekile.
The suspects will be back in court again next week on Thursday.
