The ceasing of operations in southern Africa forms part of the company's larger liquidation and restructuring strategy.
The US-based company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in September due to declining sales.
In a statement issued on 29 November to Facebook, Tupperware Southern Africa confirmed its closure, citing the lack of manufacturing equipment as a key hurdle.
