CAPE TOWN - Two siblings accused of fraudulently taking out funeral policies on Noem My Skollie actor David Manuel will know on Tuesday if they'll be going home or spending Christmas behind bars.
Wanda and Sindiswa Mbele are expected back at the Athlone Magistrates Court for judgment in their bail bids.
They're charged with fraud and money laundering relating to funeral policies they allegedly took out on Manuel, claiming to be his cousin.

The State said the funeral policy payouts for both siblings amounted to R110,000.
It is accusing Wanda and Sindiswa of changing the policies four days before Manuel's murder to double the payouts in case of an accidental death.
The State also believes that the siblings had help from someone inside Department of Home Affairs.
That person is alleged to have facilitated a fake birth certificate for Sindiswa, which she used to identify and collect Manuel's body from the mortuary.
The State further alleges that Sindiswa used the fake birth certificate to obtain Home Affairs documents for the purpose of insurance claims.
