BMA commissioner Michael Masiapato said the collaboration would help curb criminal activities, including human trafficking and smuggling.
"In line with this initiative, the border management authority is committed to ensuring that our ports of entry are not exploited for any form of violence as well as criminal activities, including human trafficking and or smuggling that target any of the vulnerable groups, particularly women and children.
"To strengthen our efforts, we have reinforced our partnership with the Department of Social Development," he said.
The BMA says it is taking a hardened approach to corrupt Border Guards, those taking bribes and allowing for illegal cross border immigration.
