JOHANNESBURG - The uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party said it had uncovered "shocking" evidence of vote rigging during the 2024 general elections.
The party recently withdrew its vote rigging court case against the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) after failing to produce evidence.

However, at a rally in Vosloorus on Saturday, MK Party leader, Jacob Zuma, announced that they had found the evidence.
In court papers previously filed by the MK Party, the only evidence it had brought forward of vote rigging was an unsigned IT forensic report.
Zuma said the party planned on reinstating its case in court.
"When we withdrew the case, we didn’t say the matter has ended. It was a temporary withdrawal because we wanted to go back and investigate what really happened. The revelations we have made are head-scratching and shocking."
Zuma said the new evidence would reveal the MK Party to be the rightful organisation to govern the country.
