JOHANNESBURG - ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula is confident that the government can meet the list of demands in the ANC Women’s League memorandum on gender-based violence.
Members of the league staged a march to the Union Buildings on Friday and handed over a memorandum of demands to the office of the Presidency.
Mbalula represented the party at the march.
"The memorandum, if you listen very well, it has got a set of demands and timeframes, and the government has been here before where in which it created a broad platform and committed to certain time frames in the struggle against GBV," said Mbalula.
