Drowned man’s dog refuses to abandon him, waits patiently for days

In Russia, a deceased man’s dog refuses to stop waiting for him after he fell through the ice of a frozen river. 

He was believed to be on his bicycle with his dog Belka when the ice gave way.

While the bicycle was retrieved fairly quickly, the man remains missing.

Heartbreakingly, his dog waited at the spot for four days as search and rescue operations continued.
