Former Tshwane DA spokesperson Kwena Moloto appointed Solly Malatsi's spokesperson
Thursday marks Kwena Moloto's final day as a Tshwane municipality councillor.

JOHANNESBURG - Former spokesperson for the Democratic Alliance (DA) in Tshwane, Kwena Moloto, has resigned as a councillor to take up a job in the Government of National Unity (GNU).
Moloto will be the new spokesperson for the Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, Solly Malatsi.
Malatsi is also a DA member.
Thursday marks Moloto's final day as a Tshwane municipality councillor.
Speaking during Tshwane’s full council meeting on Thursday, Moloto said he has deep ties to the capital city, having grown up and studied in Pretoria.
“Coming in as a young 23-year-old [councillor], [has been the] important years of my life. Many of you have become more than just colleagues; you have become mentors, friends, family, and it's bittersweet to say goodbye to a lot of you today.
“I would like to thank caucus leadership for giving me an opportunity to be caucus leadership over the past 15 months, it really has been my greatest honour, and a responsibility I never took lightly.”

Moloto spent 7-years as a PR councillor.
He’s due to become the spokesperson for the Minister of Communications, Solly Malatsi.
