Chicco Twala's son - Longwe - due to appear in court following rearrest

JOHANNESBURG - Longwe Twala is set to appear in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, following his rearrest on Tuesday.

The son of renowned music producer, Chicco Twala, was arrested for contempt of court after failing to appear for a theft in October.

In September, his father accused him of stealing items worth R200,000 from his house.

Longwe was then released on bail.

Police Spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi: "Longwe Twala was arrested at Diepkloof after a warrant of arrest was issued for him when he failed to appear in court on 25 October 2024. He is expected to appear at the Randburg Magistrates Court for contempt of court."
