Tourism season is in full swing but when is the best time to travel, if you're planning a trip?

"People used to want to go where it's warm but I don't think that's the case anymore..."

Travellers also want to save money and if you live in a country where summertime is beautiful with ocean views, vibes and incredible things to do, you might want to consider out-of-season travel.

While there's a 'vibe' during summer, winter travel (June-August) is out of season which means:

More savings because rates are lower than peak season;
You're not travelling with masses and crowds of people;
You can see and do more because places aren't fully booked as it is during peak season.

"To travel when there isn't manic craziness is such a pleasure, especially in places where people flock to in the summertime," says Martini.
